Bill: The story is about diving into a different world to search for a
special person. (Sorry, this is kinda dumb translation.) This song was written
after I broke up with my first girlfriend, which wasn’t really necessary. I was
13 then and I only realised afterwards how much I loved her. So I wanted to win
her back. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out anymore.

Bill: That was one of our first tracks. I felt a little lost because I
always want to do something. Nevertheless, I have noticed that you should live
for every single moment - even if the day sucks.

Bill: The track is the only real ballade on the album. It’s about the
feelings you have when you are left by someone. And how it is when you visit the
places where you have been only together before…



Freunde Bleiben

Staying friends
Bill: The message of this song is that it’s ok to not like people. You
shouldn’t pretend or refrain from speaking your mind. That’s why I’m always very
honest and straight-forward.



Ich Bin Nicht Ich

I’m not me
Bill: This is a love song, actually. It’s about the situation that you are
completely out of your mind when you’re in love. Nearly, as if you weren’t
yourself anymore. I’ve made that experience, too. I was totally in love and
sensed everything differently.



Wenn Nichts Mehr Geht

When nothing works anymore
Bill: You can interpret this however you like. For me the title works, e.g..
when someone’s dying. When our great-grandmother died I thought a lot about what
comes after death…

Let us out
Bill: In this song we are making fun of boy bands. Because they for example
have to do or were what they are told. We’re not doing that and only do what we
feel like. We’re a real band and have no one telling us what we have to do.



Gegen Meinen Willen

Against my will
Bill: This song is about when parents get divorced and about the feelings
the child has then. Tom, Georg and I had to do this experience when our parents
broke up a few years ago.



Jung Und Nicht Mehr Jugendfrei

Young, but X-rated
Bill: This song is about the band and the life we lead at the moment. We
might be young, but we still do what we feel like. That’s why we often have cool
parties with many girls and a lot of fun. And then it’s not always G-rated…



Der Letzte Tag

The last day
Bill: This mid-tempo numbers about living for the moment. As if it was the
last day. I myself enjoy every second. If I knew I there was only one day left I
would have a big party with my friends and my family. (This is a bad
translation, esp. the last sentence)

Eternity
Bill: The track is about doing something completely different. We’d like to
go to Tokio, for example. It’s probably a completely different world there

Over the end of the world
This song is about finding and going new ways and it is about escaping from
the all-day-world which is sometimes necessary. And sometimes you start a whole
new life, which is what the video is about. We want to make people wake up.
Tom: It’s quite a fast song - not a ballade. That was also our whish for the new
year, we absolutely wanted to start with lots of energy.
Bill: During the last one and a half years a lot has changed here. We discovered
new ways and took every change there was to really live our dream. To make that
possible, we left our familiar surroundings. The song reflects that. It has a
very positive message.


Totgeliebt

Loved to death
Bill: This songs tells about how it is, when you distance yourself from
someone you once loved. And when you can’t do anything about it. I once
experienced that. I was together with a girl and our relationship slowly went
down, and I had to watch it, without being able to do something about it.



Spring nicht

Don’t Jump
Bill: This is a really sad song. It’s about someone who is giving up on
himself.
Tom: Some people suddenly have the feeling, that there is nothing in life left
for them.
Bill: As someone watching this you are completely powerless. What we want to say
with this song: There is never a reason to give up! It’s always going on
somehow! Luckily, I myself have never felt that way. But last year, we got a lot
of letters from fans who were that desperate. They told us, that our music help
them to go on. That is very touching.

Holy
Bill: I have written this song for the people in our lives who are most
important to us. For a long time I thought about how to describe this feeling.
It’s more than love. Then the expression ‘holy’ came to our minds. It expresses,
that these people, whatever may be, will always be of huge value to us.
Georg: our family are such people to us.
Gustav: and our best friends. Tom, Bill and Georg are that important to me.

Stab the luck
Tom: ‘Stab the Luck’ is about a girl addicted to drugs. The kids who take
hard drugs are getting younger every day. In every club and at every party
people take drugs. Really bad!
Bill: In the music business there are a lot of people who take drugs, too.
Sometime we pick up on that. But in our team we are very aware that people
around us must not take drugs. We are clean! For us, drugs would never work as
an alternative.

I break out
Bill: This is a ‘pighead-song’. I’m an extreme pighead. I have to involve
myself in everything and carry my point through. I can’t stand it, when people
tell mw what I should do. We experience it every day that people tell us:
‘Listen, I’ve been in the business for 20 years now, and you have to do it this,
this and this way.’ I’ve fought this from the beginning. I never want to be
over-directed. I always want to know it myself exactly what I do - and answer
for it. I could never sing a song which I don’t like. Or have a haircut which I
don’t like. Our producer and our label have known us like that from the
beginning - and they accept it.

Talking
Tom: That is my story from sex with a fan, which you could read about in
BRAVO last week. I actually didn’t want to tell the guys about it, but they
pumped me for information. That’s like a biology lesson for the others. That’s
why the song is very emotional for them, because it is enlightening for them,
like how it works. (laughs)

Bill: When I have a girlfriend, I completely devote myself to her. Then she
gets to know everything about me. When it’s breaking up, I can hardly imagine
that I would ever devote myself to someone else like that again. Because I gave
everything of me. Then I always hate myself for letting myself go that much, and
I curse the day we first met.
Tom: That might sound a bit funny, but I had the same situation with a dog. I
just cannot imagine to have a different dog, ever.



Wir sterben niemals aus

We will never die out
Bill: Tom thinks really a lot about this issue.
Tom: That’s not the only topic where I get emotional. (grins)
Bill: We believe that whenever someone goes, something of him will remain. We
can’t imagine that somebody is gone and nothing is left of him. No matter what
time will bring - our music nobody can take from us anymore.



Vergessene Kinder

Forgotten children
Bill: This song, too, was inspired by out fans. We receive a lot of mails
from people who have a hard lot. Who are left to themselves very early and have
a hard life. Who live in children’s homes and who no one cares about. We wrote
this song to make people aware of these children. It’s dedicated to those
children no one thinks of.

On your side (I am there)
Bill: This song is for those who have been there for us during the last year
- our families and our friends. We want to give something back to them. There is
nothing better than to know that there is someone you can rely on. Sometimes I
don’t call my best mate any longer. (This was a guess, because the German
doesn’t make any sense here)
But I instantly know that he is there for me. If I was at the end of the world -
he would come immediately. No matter what duties I have - if one of my friends
would call me and say: ‘I need you now’, than I would drop everything and help
him.

Bill: The message of the song is that you have to say, or better shout out loud
what you always wanted to tell people.
